We went around 11 on Saturday 8/8/26 for our first time! We had a Detroit Pizza Passport book & this one was one of the highest rated & closest to us so we checked it out. Its a hole in the wall that doesn't try to be something it's not. Lots of personality with stickers & artwork adorning every surface & a friendly enough guy at the front to take your order. No alcohol or fountain sodas so keep that in mind, but the creativity was next level! I tried their special the Slickback Shrimp ceviche-style pizza which was delicious & exactly what you'd expect it to taste like! Its a pretty cool spot to check out :) Omg bonus points for having a baby changing station!! 😍

Pie Sci FOREVER has a piece of my heart. I was not leaving Detroit without a Detroit style pizza and this place made me not want to leave ever. I have to go back for more. This place truly is special. We had the supreme and the one on the menu with Pork belly, Onions and sesame seeds. They had completely different flavor profiles but I absolutely enjoyed both of them. The pizza was the perfect balance between soft and crispy and I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed pizza this much. We went there a week ago and I’ve been thinking about the pizza ever since.

Pie Sci is hands down my favorite in Detroit — not only the most creative pizzas but the best crispy and doughy crust and so accommodating for my GF/vegan friends!! From the corndog pizza to summer elote to the Khana butter chicken, the thoughtfulness and dedication to local ingredients/suppliers literally makes me drive an hour each way for a slice. Truly a gem from the consistent amazing food to the five star service!

We had a great experience. The pizza was delicious, and I really appreciated that they offer vegan and gluten free options. Steve’s customer service was outstanding. He was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend.

1st time here and it was the best pizza. Great Customer Service. They told us what the favorites were and their option. We ordered The Supremes small square. It was fresh n light, meaning it wasn't over filling. The Cheese Bread was also delicious with the seasoning on top. We will definitely go back n try another kind of pizza.
